Aussie Pavlova McFlurry.
During my ridiculously long day in the airport while I was waiting to cancel my flight to New Zealand I thought it would be an appropriate time to head to Maccas and try this bad boy.
A limited edition Australian inspired McDonalds treat... YES PLEASE! The whole time we were in Tasmania, all I wanted was ice cream only to find that everywhere we went it was like $5.00 a scoop... yeah right.
This Pavlova McFlurry is an attempt to replicate the Australian traditional pavlova dessert. Delicious vanilla soft serve ice cream doused in passion fruit syrup goo (seed-like pieces included for some crunch), and topped with pieces of light crisp meringue... mmmm.
Overall, there was a little bit too much passion fruit goop on mine but that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying this treat and it just made me want to try an actual pavlova dessert now!
Also, for the record McDonalds single soft serve cones are only 30¢ here!! Enjoy you're over-priced McD's ice cream.
